T2 is a very fast style of combat in the rp world. You will be pitted against an opponent, or several opponents at once. Where T1 is all about creativity and really thinking about what you are doing. T2 is about speed. When preparing for a fight an intro must be typed out for all players. Once this has been established the fight may begin.
There are four main actions involved in T2 and they are as follows: Attack, Defend, Connect, and Counter. Each of these actions have a certain word requirement which they must fulfill. An attack must be at least 7 words long. A defend must be at least 7 words as well. A connect must be at least 10 words, and a counter must be at least 12.
An attack, which is at least 7 words long, must in its most basic sense state an attack, and state who this attack is directed towards. There must be no more then 1 typo within the attack, and it must state the name of the person who's being attacked. If either of these are not fulfilled, or there are not at least 7 words in the attack, then it is null and will be ignored.
A defend, which also contains at least 7 words, is used to defend your character from an attack. It must state the manner of defense from the attack, and must include the name of the attacker. There must also be no more than 1 typo in the defend or it will be ignored.
A connect, which contains at least 10 words, is used to describe an attack's effect upon the opponent. A connect must be entered in before a defend in order to take effect. A connect must include the name of the character who was attacked, and must also include no more than 1 typo or the connect will be ignored.
A counter, which must contain at least 12 words, is used to turn an attack back towards the attacker. When you are attacked you may either defend, or counter. In order to counter you must describe how the attack was negated and turned back towards the attacker. You must also include the name of the character who is now being faced with an attack.
All magic used or traps and other things which take time to set up must have at least one prep post or they will be ignored. All prep posts must contain at least 7 words and describe something about the magic, trap, etc. about to be enacted.
All T2 battles must be judged and must also take place in a messenger system with the ability to have 3 or more people in a chat simultaneously. In a battle the judge will be used to enforce typo rules, and settle close actions which happened to create different results for the players.
In this board semi-para rp will be allowed. For the rules to semi-para refer back to the T1 thread, but know that the line requirements are different. In a semi-para rp the minimum amount of lines required are 2. These 2 lines must have a minimum of 2 sentences as well. The maximum amount of lines for semi-para are 4, although slightly longer posts will be allowed.
