My topic. My Characters. *Cracks knuckles* Righto, I think I'll start with my most used character :3
Name: Athest Nox
Age: 20
Eye colour: Blue
Hair colour: Aurburnish Brown
Height: 6'1
Weight: 163 lbs
Favoured weapon: Guardless double-edged longsword and claws
Bio/History:
Although he doesn't remember a past before the age of 14, Nox is a noble of the village he once lived in. However, around this age, famine, drought and other misfortunes fell upon the village as a result of frequent raids and unpredictable weather. And so, to appease the people, the royals were used as scapegoats by the townspeople. Nox managed to escape, whereas the other royals of the Arkon Nox House were killed, all except his father Arkon himself. After being separated from his father and witnessing the rest of his being family slaughtered in front of him at the age of 13, the blend of fear and rage awakened a cruel power within him. Although Nox escaped alive, he had killed for his freedom and suffered severe head injuries, resulting in his memory loss up to that point.
After, Athest was taken in by a man named Leon Akorr. Leon was a Knight among the ranks of the Demon Kingdom, yet he was kind and soft-spoken. During this time, Nox was taught swordplay properly and they lived for a year together before Leon was called to war. Ever since, Athest has been making his own way, living for the sake of living and selling his services which mostly involved escorting goods, which soon became bounty hunting, unaware of his past life.
After a few long years, he found his way home and settled for a long time, the only companion he'd had was himself until then, the dark power within him being two 'other' souls within his body, like Schizophrenia yet not, since it wasn't just something in his head. After being at home around his family, remembering the pains he'd felt until that time [Although not remembering his childhood. his memory of that far back was never regained] due to many encounters with many people, some he'd rather forget as well as other he could not, he decided on diving with the 'spare' souls within him, locking the two into separate swords which he then entrusted to someone close to him, asking her to promise him that she wouldn't let those souls ever be released from the blades. Three times the person is to feel three times the pain. It was better, even healthier for him to be rid of them.
Free from his alter egos, he set off once again to travel after bidding his father a fond farewell, [it's not one of those cliché "I hate my dad!" scenarios. They actually get along together really well as father and son should.] politely declining his father's proposal for Athest to take rule over the Kingdom although promising he'd return home before too long.
[And now he's as he is in the current RP
T'was a long as hell bio, but if you got through it all, well done xD]
Another Character!
Name: Shirakirai "Shira" Reikon
Age: 19
Eyecolour: Yellow-ish
Height: 5'4
Weight: 106 lbs
Favoured Weapon: Ninja Sword x2
Bio/History:
Shira is a kind and gentle sort of person, very shy to new people and selfless in every way.
After completing her education, Shira set out back home so that she could live at her home with her family for a while before she could travel and make a living. A capable mechanic as well having other skills, she's a jack-of-all-trades and planned to use her vast variety of skills to set up a business doing odd jobs. However, her plans were dashed shortly after returning home, War broke out and her home became victim to a horrible biological attack.
Shira was evacuated and separated from her family, moving to a much smaller place in the countryside. But to her dismay, with the war being fought, all the homes that had room were taken by other evacuees. It was then that she was told of a Mansion that may have room, where a noble from another kingdom lives, but he was rumoured to be a cold and heartless man. Determined, she set off into the woods at the edge of the town, braving the harsh weather conditions of that evening to get to the mansion, but on knocking at the door she got a bit of a surpirse. Rather than there being the old and bitter man she had imagined standing there, there was a much younger man, not much older than her, in the doorway. She explained her situation to him but wary and untrusting of other people, the Lord of the mansion wasn't swayed straight away but as he was to refuse he got a good long look at her sad eyes and at last gave in.
Ever since, Shira has lived with him and they became very good friends, the Lord even trusting her with two blades that mean alot to him, handed to her with the message "Never let them free.". Overjoyed that he would trust her with items so precious to him, she accepts happily after an explanation of why these swords meant so much to him.
