Appearance: Tyka is a slender, but toned, fair-skinned person. The most attention drawing aspect of his appearance is his slightly ethereal shimmer as he walks and clothes that never seem to match the times. He is average to the point of being unique. He wears mostly slacks with a button up shirt and a black vest and black boots to match.

Public Knowledge: Called the "Timeless One" or simply, "Timeless", Tyka is told in history as the man who never was and in prophecies as the man who never will be. Yet here he is; the wanderer of time itself. Countless tribes and societies have spoken of the man who seemed to walk the footsteps of the immortals. Armies have seen him walk through battlefields and remain unscathed. The stories are always the same but no one knows who he is or what his goal is.

Lesser Known: Destruction follows the wake of Tyka. Misfortune bleeds towns dry and sorrow breeds hatred for the cursed man. Few have actually died following Tyka's passing but the few who have were more than enough. Their deaths burn into the eyes of those that see what little remains.

Tyka is the equivalent of Famine, the Third Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Trapped in time and searching for a way to escape Tyka is followed endlessly by a rift in time that spreads disease and plagues by accidentally merging past and future. This merging allows for old and new viruses to erupt at unlikely times, swarms of insects to infest before or after their time should allow, or for mortals to step into times they should not be and influence time itself.

Tyka has the ability to suppress or even undo some of the misfortune that follows in his wake but doing so is quite costly. If done too frequently, Tyka will begin to appear ethereal and eventually vanish entirely. If this is to happen, Tyka will die.

Tyka is not aware of his past or how he came to be. He also has no idea what he's searching for; only that it is just out of reach. He wonders on occasion if his duty is to endlessly wander and spread the misfortune to help influence the coming of the apocalypse. Times are the worst when this happens as he is reluctant to undo any waves of ill luck that may befall during that time.

Ethereal Form:
Tyka is unable to touch or be touched while in ethereal form unless he wills certain portions of his body to solidify. This act will cause other portions of him to fade further while they donate their solidity. The end result may mean you get to touch his hand at the cost of him appearing to miss a foot or ear or even his other hand. This is painless and does not cause lasting damage so long as he does not reside permanently in such a state or deteriorate further.

Damage:
Tyka can heal almost any damage taken by allowing that portion of his body to cease to exist. The most common way is to force his body into the ethereal state and then solidify as much of himself as possible so that the damaged sections are removed. See the Ethereal Form section for more explanation on how solidification works. This method will fail to excessive damage.

Tyka is also able to heal by absorbing surrounding life energy, especially that of crops. While he cannot harm a living creature his drain will eventually tire anyone under the effects. Any food or drink that is "drained" to sustain Tyka will spoil, rot, or become poisonous. Draining food will also restore him from an ethereal state.

Battle:
Tyka is able to instantly become solid by engaging in combat. Following the stories of the horsemen, Famine is the least skilled in open combat and so he resorted to deplenishing supplies. Tyka is remarkably like this and rarely engages in direct combat. However, Tyka is greedy, selfish, and jealous of everyone and as such will engage in battle, if necessary, to save his own life. The ability to go instantly from ethereal to solid makes Tyka extremely impervious to lasting harm, though the process of switching back and forth is immediate but draining so he is not able to perform it quickly enough to use effectively in battle.

Battle Note:
When in ethereal form, other ethereal weapons will damage Tyka as normal. Magic, unless devised specifically for battling or assisting the ethereal, is ineffective against Tyka in ethereal form. This includes heals.

(As ethereal weapons are extremely rare; an exceptional reasoning as to how you came upon one will be required before I will allow it to be used against me).

Weaponry:
Tyka carries a specially imbued dagger than can go from solid to ethereal when Tyka does and specialized scale armor that does the same. Rumors have it that when the story was repeated it changed from, "A man with scales" to "a man with a scale" (a tool used for measuring the weights of two objects against one another).

Pretty nifty character design. XD Grr...I feel like I can't think of much to say, sorry, but x.x; *poke* You need to get dragged into RP.
The abilities are pretty unique, but I don't think of them as unbalanced at all or anything, and I like how a lot of the things have length, but are straightforward and on topic. Not much of a mention on personality, I notice o.o! XD
